Our Winery
Nestled on the north-facing slopes of the sunlit Strzelecki Ranges near Warragul, in the heart of Gippsland, Blackcoat is a winery where passion and perfection quietly meet.
Everything begins in the vineyard - our high quality vines are pruned by hand and grown by organic principles. With each block densely planted, in unique fast-draining clay soils, the grapes produced are exceptional.
We hand pick when the fruit is just right. We sort carefully, keeping only what truly belongs. We press gently, and allow the wines to rest in French oak barrels to evolve gracefully.
